Durbalere rokkha karo, durjanere haano,
Nejere deen nihsahay jeno kabhu na jaano.

Dharmo jabe shankhorabe koribe aahwban
Neerab hoye namra hoye pan koriyo praan.

Notes: Takagaki, a Japanese jujutsu expert was invited in the year 1931 at Shantiniketan and an arrangement was made for coaching among the students. Exhibitions were held all around and this song was taken as the opening song. The song was first produced at the stage of New Empire in the year 1932. Later the song was included in 'Chitrangada' with the first word 'Sankocher' replaced with 'Santrasher'.
